Job summary

Michael Page Australia is seeking an experienced End User Computing (EUC) Specialist to lead Citrix upgrades, VMware lifecycle work, and Hyper-V modernization across hybrid on‑premises and cloud environments in Sydney.

The successful candidate will drive brownfield upgrades, manage multiple projects, engage stakeholders, and document solutions while maintaining BAU operations under a temporary contract through mid‑2027.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience within Infrastructure, EUC, or Modern Workplace environments.
• Proven experience delivering brownfield infrastructure upgrades and transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and project delivery skills.
• Experience tackling technical debt and modernising legacy environments.
• Ability to work across multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver Citrix platform upgrades and migrations across enterprise environments.
• Plan and execute VMware infrastructure upgrades, lifecycle management, and optimisation activities.
• Perform Hyper-V upgrades and platform modernisation projects.
• Design and implement Microsoft Entra ID Cloud Sync / Cloud Connect deployments and identity modernisation initiatives.
• Support hybrid infrastructure environments spanning on-premises and cloud platforms.
• Deliver infrastructure refresh and transformation projects while maintaining BAU operations.
• Conduct health checks, capacity planning, and technical assessments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, networking, security, and application teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide Level 2& 3 technical support when required.
