Job summary

EVT Limited is seeking a Reservations Agent to be the first point of contact for guests’ phone and digital enquiries. You will coordinate bookings, room service orders and housekeeping requests while delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Located in the Hunter Valley region, the role involves working within a vibrant resort environment and contributing to a passionate team focused on hospitality excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role, preferably in hospitality.
• Excellent communication in English, with ability to handle guest queries.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise deadlines.
• Comfortable with computers and basic maths.
• Willingness to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of standard reservation procedures and correct forms.
• Be a trusted contact for guests and coordinate with management when needed.
• Record guest preferences and manage messages, requests and concerns.
• Take and manage guest bookings, upsell where appropriate.
• Complete check-in/check-out in Opera PMS by phone.
• Update PMS with special requirements and manage waitlists.
• Communicate effectively with interdepartmental teams.
