Job summary

Public Sector People is assisting a Regional Council in Caboolture to recruit an Investigations Officer on a temporary contract, with possibility of extension or direct appointment. The role involves conducting investigations into breaches of state legislation and local laws and preparing briefs and evidence for enforcement.

You will work with the Investigations & Audits Coordinator, enjoy weekly pay, vehicle and uniform provided, and start ASAP.

Qualifications

• Background in investigations or law enforcement required.
• Experience with council or government is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Undertake investigations and collate evidence for enforcement actions.
• Prepare documents, technical reports, and briefs of evidence for court/tribunal actions.
• Support enforcement and prosecution activities and provide clear advice to stakeholders.
