Job summary

Maze Distribution in Melbourne is seeking an on-site Warehouse Inventory Controller to manage day-to-day stock movements and maintain an organized warehouse layout. You will own the daily movement and accuracy of stock on the warehouse floor, coordinating with receiving, picking and dispatch teams.

The role requires hands-on experience in inventory control and warehouse operations, with familiarity in WMS systems and forklift operation being a plus.

• Assist with cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.

• Make sure the warehouse is organised and ready for the following day's operations.

Job description

You will be responsible for controlling the day-to-day movement of inventory throughout the warehouse and ensuring the operation remains organised, accurate and ready for each day's activities. This is not a desk-based inventory position. You will be someone who enjoys being on the warehouse floor and taking ownership of the daily movement and organisation of stock.

About you

• Strong knowledge of warehouse stock movements and racking/location systems


• Comfortable working both on the warehouse floor and with inventory/WMS systems


• Highly organised and enjoys keeping a warehouse structured and under control


• Can communicate clearly with warehouse staff, supervisors and management


• Takes ownership and follows problems through until they are resolved


• Confident working in a busy and growing distribution environment


• Good computer and inventory-system skills


• Forklift experience/licence would be highly regarded
