Job summary

Momentum Consulting is recruiting for an inventory-focused role based in Truganina, Victoria. The position involves physical stock checks, cycle counts, and ensuring accurate stock receipt into the warehouse management system.

You will liaise with Customer Service to resolve variances and support ongoing warehouse operations. Ideal candidates will have prior warehouse inventory experience, an EWP and forklift licence, and the right to work in Australia.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse based inventory role.
• EWP and forklift licence essential.
• Australian or NZ citizenship or permanent residency, or unrestricted work rights.

Responsibilities

• Carry out physical stock checks and cycle counts daily in line with performance measures.
• Ensure accurate receipt of stock back into the warehouse and entries into the WMS.
• Liaise with Customer Service regarding enquiries and investigations, update logs and KPI trackers.
• Investigate inventory anomalies and lead corrections.
• Manage unclaimed returns and LPs; log and isolate in warehouse.
• Support Warehouse Manager with inventory movements and destruction pallets.
• Monitor cycle count performance and report variance corrections promptly.

Our client is a s a well-established healthcare company - a manufacture, distributor and so much more, doing business in more that 125 couintries and territories around the world. Based in Truganina, Victoria our client provides quality medical supplies to help deliver exceptional care.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Carry out physical stock checks and cycle counts daily in line with performance related measures. Investigate any inventory variances that may have occurred within the operation and reports variances identified to the Inventory Controller daily.
• Ensure accurate receipt of all customer credit/return stock back into the warehouse and adjustments into the WMS
• Liaise with Customer Service regarding enquiries and investigations, particularly in response to order variances received. Ensure accurate information is entered into the Customer Service Complaint Log, Returns & KPI tracker updates.
• Investigate inventory anomalies and correction, including container variances investigation.
• Manage all unclaimed returns and consumed LPs found isolating and logging in the warehouse.
• Support VIC Warehouse Manager in other areas of inventory movements such as collating expired stock and manifesting destruction pallets.
• Responsible for Samples stock transfers from QAD WMS into Samples system. Organise the physical relocation into the Samples area as required. Assist with processing requests.
• Monitor and Report performance of the cycle counts results to ensure inventory accuracy levels is maintained to high levels and inventory variance corrections are actioned in a timely manner.
