Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking an experienced Inbound Supervisor / Inventory Controller for a 3PL operation. This hybrid role combines daily inbound coordination with hands-on supervision of a small warehouse team, focused on accurate stock and location records.

You will lead receiving, putaway and cycle counts, resolve stock discrepancies, and ensure safety and efficiency on the floor. CartonCloud experience and a current forklift licence are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Experience in inbound, inventory-control or warehouse supervision.
• Experience in a 3PL warehouse environment.
• Strong knowledge of receiving, putaway, cycle counting and stocktakes.
• Experience leading and coordinating a small warehouse team.
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
• Good communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence investigating stock discrepancies and process issues.
• Experience using a warehouse management system; CartonCloud experience is highly regarded, but not necessary.
• The ability to work hands-on and support the warehouse team when required.
• A current Australian forklift licence – essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inbound deliveries and containers.
• Supervise a small crew completing container loading and unloading.
• Coordinate a forklift operator responsible for stock movements and container putaways.
• Receive stock accurately in CartonCloud.
• Identify and report damaged, missing or excess stock.
• Ensure every pallet has the correct pallet ID label.
• Ensure stock is put away in the correct warehouse location.
• Maintain accurate stock and location records.
• Complete regular cycle counts and stocktakes.
• Investigate stock variances and complete approved corrections.
• Manage damaged, quarantined and unidentified stock.
• Respond to inbound and inventory-related tickets.
• Keep the inbound and staging areas clean, safe and organised.
• Report delays, stock issues and operational risks to the Operations Manager.
• Assist with internal warehouse and customer audits.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and within required timeframes.
