Job summary

HMPS Propac is seeking a Stores Coordinator in Adelaide to manage the Propac store and Vertical Storage System. You will ensure accurate receipts, put-away, picking, packing and dispatch while maintaining inventory integrity and safety.

You’ll work with production, spare parts and procurement teams, mentor others, and optimise storage layout and processes. This hands-on role offers ownership of inventory systems and continuous improvement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in stores/warehouse or inventory roles in manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
• Experience with cycle counting and stocktakes.
• Experience coordinating flow of stores work and training others.
• Strong attention to detail with part numbers and engineering components.
• Proficient computer skills with ERP/inventory systems and Microsoft Office.
• Forklift licence (LF) required.
• Driver's licence and right to work in Australia.
• Experience with automated storage systems would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day‑to‑day operation of the Propac store including receipt, put‑away, kitting, picking and dispatch.
• Provide guidance and on‑the‑job training to others in the store.
• Operate and maintain the Vertical Storage System and manage its data.
• Maintain inventory records, conduct cycle counts and investigate variances.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate freight for inbound/outbound goods.
• Prepare dispatch documents including interstate, export and dangerous goods where required.
• Collaborate with production, procurement and planning to resolve shortages.
