Job summary

Fire and Safety Industries in Mansfield, QLD is seeking an organised Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to join the Mansfield team. You will manage stock, orders, and logistics operations, ensuring goods reach customers on time while liaising with suppliers and transport providers.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory, logistics, warehousing or a similar coordination role.
• Experience in manufacturing, mining, engineering or another heavy industry environment is highly regarded.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receipting incoming stock into the ERP system.
• Monitor stock deliveries and follow up suppliers on lead times and delays.
• Coordinate domestic and international freight.
• Book freight and arrange courier pickups.
• Prepare shipping and export documentation.
• Track shipments and resolve delivery issues.
• Liaise with freight providers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Respond to customer and supplier enquiries via email and phone.
• Provide general administration support to the Inventory team.
• Assist other Inventory team members as required.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency.

The position:

We are looking for an organised, proactive and motivated Inventory & Logistics Coordinator to join our Inventory team at Mansfield.

This is a hands-on and varied role where you will play an important part in keeping our inventory, customer orders and logistics operations running smoothly. You’ll work closely with our customers, suppliers, transport providers and internal teams, making sure the right products get to the right place, at the right time.

What you’ll be doing

Your days will be varied and will include:

• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Accurately receipting incoming stock into our ERP system
• Monitoring stock deliveries and following up suppliers regarding lead times, delays and outstanding orders
• Coordinating domestic and international freight
• Booking freight and arranging courier pickups
• Preparing shipping and export documentation
• Tracking shipments and resolving delivery issues
• Liaising with freight and transport providers to ensure deliveries are completed on time
• Responding to customer and supplier enquiries via email and phone
• Providing general administration support to the Inventory team
• Assisting other members of the Inventory team when required

About You:

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organised and takes pride in getting things right. Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience in inventory, logistics, warehousing or a similar coordination role
• Experience in manufacturing, mining, engineering or another heavy industry environment is highly regarded
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and keep on top of deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic
• The ability to work independently while also being a great team player
• Sound computer skills and confidence learning new systems
• A willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities
• A current forklift licence would be advantageous, but is not essential
