Job summary

TDT Training Australia invites applications for an HR Data Analytics Intern to join the HR People & Culture team in Hallam, VIC. This part-time internship offers hands-on experience in HR data management and analytics within a vocational education setting.

You will support data collection, cleaning, dashboards, and reporting, gaining exposure to Xero, BambooHR, and compliance workflows while contributing to data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Human Resource Management, Data Analytics, Business, Statistics, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, or Google Sheets.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.
• Good understanding of HR processes and interest in workforce analytics.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and organize HR data from systems such as Xero, BambooHR, and internal records.
• Assist in developing dashboards and reports that track HR metrics (e.g., attendance, performance trends).
• Support workforce planning and compliance reporting requirements.
• Identify data patterns and provide insights to improve employee experience and business performance.
• Assist in documentation, process mapping, and improvement of HR data workflows.
• Collaborate with the HR team on ad-hoc projects related to data quality and analytics.

About the Role

This internship provides an exciting opportunity for a motivated student or recent graduate with a background in Human Resources (Data Analytics) , to gain hands-on experience in HR data management and analytics within a dynamic industry environment.

You will support the HR People & Culture Department in analyzing workforce data, streamlining reporting processes, and contributing to data-driven decision-making.
