International & Domestic Logistics Lead (12 months fixed term)

Job summary

Blackmores Group, a leading natural health company, is seeking a Logistics Lead to drive end-to-end international shipments from Australia to South East Asia and Greater China. This 12-month leave cover requires working from Surry Hills three days per week with two days from home.

You will coordinate with freight forwarders, prepare export documents, and support continuous improvement across the international logistics function while collaborating with internal stakeholders and 3PLs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in international logistics, import/export, freight forwarding or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of air and sea freight, export documentation, customs processes and Incoterms.
• Experience preparing Packing lists, AQIS/DAFF documentation (NX188B/C/D).
• Certificates of Origin, including C06 and C09.
• Exposure to Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) and Asia/China import/export regulations.
• Experience in FMCG, consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical or related industries would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing of international customer orders via sea and air freight.
• Prepare export and customs documentation to support timely and compliant shipment clearance.
• Coordinate closely with freight forwarders, 3PL providers and internal stakeholders across our domestic and international markets.
• Proactively communicate shipment status, delays, risks and — importantly — recommended solutions.
• Support logistics administration across both international and domestic freight.
• Ensure logistics procedures and controls are followed to maintain high operational standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, remove inefficiencies and make the way we work better.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the International Logistics function.
• Build your knowledge of international trade, customs, freight and the markets in which we operate.

This role reports to the Import-Export Manager and will be expected to work from our Surry Hills office at least 3 days per week and 2 days from home.

What you'll bring

The technical capability

You’ll need a strong foundation in international logistics, including:

• 3+ years’ experience in international logistics, import/export, freight forwarding or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of air and sea freight, export documentation, customs processes and Incoterms.
• Hands-on experience preparing:
• Packing lists
• AQIS/DAFF documentation, including NX188B, NX188C and NX188D
• Certificates of Origin, including C06 and C09
• Experience working with freight forwarders and logistics providers.
• Exposure to Free Trade Agreements (FTAs).
• Knowledge of import/export regulations across Asia and China.
• Experience in FMCG, consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical or related industries would be highly regarded.
