Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation in Sydney seeks an Internal Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales with end users, contractors and channel partners, interpreting requirements and proposing technical solutions across power and thermal products.

You will support external BDMs, manage quotes and proposals, and collaborate with pre-sales, supply chain, legal and finance to ensure a seamless customer experience while meeting sales targets.

Qualifications

• High level of computer literacy.
• Able to track opportunities and familiar with CRM tools.
• 3–5 years of sales experience.
• Experience managing a sales budget and project pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support relationships with customers in end user, contractor and channel markets to generate sales.
• Prepare and review proposals to prospective clients.
• Follow up on quotes, tender submissions and client orders.
• Negotiate and win sales to achieve targets.
• Collaborate with pre-sales, supply chain, legal, finance and service teams to ensure seamless customer experience.
• Provide basic technical product selections and advice to clients.
