Job summary

Apex Steel in Brisbane is seeking an Internal Sales Representative to join our team, focusing on delivering exceptional customer service, handling enquiries, quotations and order processing.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will collaborate with Business Development Managers, nurture customer accounts, identify growth opportunities and support sales administration in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Internal Sales, Customer Service, Account Management or Sales Support.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Prepare and follow up customer quotations.
• Process sales orders accurately and efficiently.
• Assist customers with pricing, product availability, lead times and order status.
• Support Business Development Managers with quote tracking, customer follow-ups and Sales administration.
• Maintain accurate customer information and activity within CRM systems.
• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and build long-term relationships.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing customer accounts and generate additional sales.
• Coordinate with operations to ensure customer expectations are met.

Apex Steel is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our team. in Northgate, Brisbane.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role will work closely with our Business Development Managers to provide exceptional customer service, manage sales enquiries, prepare quotations and support customer accounts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, sales support and account management within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Experience using CRM systems.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Manufacturing, steel, construction or industrial industry experience will be highly regarded.
