Job summary

Apex Building Products on the Gold Coast seeks a customer-focused sales support specialist to handle inquiries, assist with product selection, and accurately process orders in SAP. You will work closely with the sales team to provide quotes and drive orders while building lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or related roles.
• Ability to enter complex customer orders accurately into our systems.
• Experience with metal roofing or sheet metal products preferred but not essential.
• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and resolving issues effectively.
• Self-driven and works well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiating skills.
• Strong computer skills; SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate information about products, pricing, availability and order status.
• Assist customers with product selection, recommendations, and technical inquiries.
• Process complex orders accurately in SAP.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support sales initiatives, provide quotes, and prepare sales orders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and communications in our CRM.
