Job summary

Bitek is seeking an energetic Internal Sales & Customer Service Officer for our Hume branch in Canberra. This full-time role focuses on delivering outstanding service to trade and wholesale customers, building relationships and supporting sales growth across the branch.

You will handle quotations, process orders accurately, assist with product selection and pricing, and maintain CRM records while collaborating with warehouse and purchasing teams to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Internal sales, customer service, trade counter or wholesale experience.
• Experience processing sales orders and customer enquiries.
• Strong computer skills and confidence using ERP or CRM systems.
• Experience with MYOB Advanced (advantageous but not essential).
• Experience in electrical, security, AV, data or related industries will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Building strong relationships with trade and wholesale customers
• Providing exceptional service across the trade counter, phone and email
• Preparing quotations and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Assisting customers with product selection, pricing and availability
• Supporting external sales representatives and helping convert opportunities into sales
• Working closely with warehouse and purchasing teams to ensure customer requirements are met
• Following up quotations and proactively identifying sales opportunities
• Contributing to new business development and branch growth initiatives
• Maintaining accurate customer and CRM records
