Job summary

HRCheck Aust Pty Ltd in Melbourne’s industrial precinct is seeking an Internal Sales Officer on a 6-month temporary basis to cover maternity leave. Based at our Truganina site, you will manage customer relationships, process orders and respond to enquiries while supporting ongoing product requirements.

This is a hands-on role in a non-high-pressure environment, with opportunities to turn into permanent employment depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Internal Sales, Customer Service, Account Management or Sales Support
• A professional and confident phone manner
• Strong administration and organisational skills
• Experience processing orders and managing customer enquiries
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong computer literacy and confidence navigating multiple systems

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound customer enquiries via phone and email
• Process customer orders and quotations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
• Follow up with inactive customers to re-engage business relationships
• Provide product information and customer support
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met
• Maintain accurate records within company systems
• Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service
