ACD Trade, a leading air-conditioning wholesale group with a Molendinar branch on the Gold Coast, seeks an Internal Sales / Customer Service Representative. You will build relationships, drive sales, and assist customers across trade counter, phone and email while delivering technical product support and accurate order processing.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role offers training, career development, and a supportive team culture within a growing national business.

ACD Trade is one of Australia's largest air-conditioning wholesalers, with 13 branches located across QLD, WA & NT. As part of the Beijer Ref Australia Group, we operate more than 150 branches nationwide and employ approximately 850 people.

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales / Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Molendinar branch.

About the role

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include:

• Building strong relationships with customers face-to-face, over the phone and via email.
• Growing sales through exceptional customer service, product knowledge and customer engagement.
• Assisting customers via the trade counter, phone and email enquiries.
• Providing technical product support (full training provided).
• Picking and packing trade orders.
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of deliveries when required.
• Developing relationships with existing and prospective customers to identify opportunities for business growth.Proactively reaching out to customers to build pipeline opportunities, re-engage inactive accounts and promote products and services.
• Following up quotations and customer enquiries to maximise sales opportunities.
• Building customer relationships based on trust, reliability and excellent communication.
• Processing sales orders, quotations, invoices, purchase orders and stock transfers.
• Supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch.

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience in customer service, internal sales, trade sales, wholesale, manufacturing or distribution environments.
• Experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, industrial or trade wholesale businesses will be highly regarded.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• A proactive approach to customer engagement, business development and identifying sales opportunities.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in computer systems and administrative tasks.
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
