I Place People Pty Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Internal Sales Consultant for a global leader in industrial measurement, based in Caringbah, NSW. The role focuses on customer service, relationship management and sales support in a technical environment.

You will respond to inquiries, prepare quotations, upsell, coordinate with the external sales team and maintain CRM, contributing to sales growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales or sales support.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort with a technical environment.
• Willingness to learn and take on product training.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Provide advice on products and solutions based on customer requirements.
• Deliver a high level of service throughout the customer journey.
• Assist customers with pricing, product availability and order updates.
• Prepare and follow up quotations.
• Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
• Support the external sales team with customer information and sales activity.
• Maintain regular customer contact to maximise sales opportunities.
• Help drive customer retention and growth across existing accounts.
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain CRM and customer records.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams regarding deliveries.
• Prepare customer documentation and sales reports.
• Ensure all enquiries and quotations are managed promptly.
