Job summary

Stratco, an Australian-owned innovator in building solutions, is seeking a proactive internal sales assistant at our Canning Vale site. You will process orders, engage with trade customers, and support the external sales team to keep shipments moving and customers satisfied.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or internal sales, preferably from outdoors/building/hardware sectors.
• Strong organisational and admin skills with the ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a professional drive and motivation.
• Good computer literacy and familiarity with basic software.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process orders from inbound customers (telephone and email).
• Provide outstanding customer service to Trade customers.
• Liaise with internal departments such as estimating and manufacturing, and with the external sales team.

The Opportunity

As part of our internal sales team, and located at our Canning Vale location, you will provide an exceptional level of customer engagement and service, process orders and collaborate with our external sales team!

Responsibilities

• Enter and process orders from inbound customers (telephone and email)
• Providing outstanding customer service to our Trade customers
• Liaising with internal departments such as estimating and manufacturing, as well as our external sales team
• Adherence to our critical safety values and contributing to a safe working environment

About you

We’re looking for a team player who is self-motivated, practical and customer-focused, with the following skills and attributes;

• Strong organisational and admin skills, with the ability to multitask
• Previous experience in customer service or internal sales, preferably from within the outdoors, building or hardware sectors
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal confidently with customers at all levels
• A high level of professional drive and motivation
• Good computer literacy
