Job summary

Bowens is Australia’s leading independent building materials supplier with a long history dating back to 1894. We’re seeking a sales support administrator to assist an Account Manager, process orders and quotes, and build strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Ideal candidates will have customer-service focus, strong communication, and organisational skills, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn. This is a full-time position with opportunities for development and rewards.

Qualifications

• Ideally, prior experience in a sales support/administration position processing orders and quotes.
• Customer Comes First attitude with sound planning, organisational and attention to detail skills.
• Strong communication skills both over the phone and via email.
• Willingness to learn and have fun whilst getting the job done.
• Strong relationship building, analytical and problem solving skills.
• A sales mindset with the ability to contribute to store KPI’s.

Responsibilities

• Support an Account Manager 'buddy' in providing outstanding customer service.
• Processing orders and quotes in an efficient, accurate and prompt manner.
• Build and continue developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Liaising with various suppliers to source products and information for customers.
• Completing take offs and follow up on quote submissions.
• Continually look for ways to add value to Bowens and our customers' business.
