Job summary

Kelly+Partners Norwest is seeking a proactive accounting professional with 2+ years in a Chartered Accounting Practice to join our growing team. You will contribute to financial statements, tax returns, BAS, and client service, while learning from experienced Partners and a collaborative team in a modern Norwest office.

You will gain exposure to diverse industries, ongoing training, monthly tax updates, and a premium office environment designed to support wellbeing.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in a Chartered Accounting Practice.
• CA qualification or currently undertaking CA studies.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Familiarity with practice management platforms like MYOB AE, APS, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero and QuickBooks.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
• Client-first mindset and commitment to delivering quality service.
• A long-term vision to grow into a leadership role and contribute meaningfully to the team.

Responsibilities

• Preparing Financial Statements and Tax Returns for various entities
• Completing BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT, and PAYG obligations
• Managing payroll tax and workers compensation reconciliations
• Liaising with statutory authorities and supporting clients
• Mentoring junior team members and contributing to training
• Participating in team events and monthly tax updates
• Supporting a culture of growth, accountability, and shared success
