Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a chartered accounting practice.
• CA qualification or currently undertaking CA studies.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting or related discipline.
• Experience with MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, Xero or QuickBooks.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Partners to complete client work accurately and on time.
• Lead preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for various entities.
• Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG obligations.
• Prepare annual workers’ compensation and payroll tax reconciliations.
• Work with an experienced Partner to grow client exposure and responsibility.
• Liaise with statutory authorities on behalf of clients.
• Build strong client relationships and deliver high service standards.
• Participate in training seminars, meetings and events.
