MyChoice Design Studio, part of the NEX Building Group, in Newcastle area, seeks a Receptionist to warmly welcome clients and manage appointments with our interior design consultants.

You will answer calls, coordinate between clients and designers, maintain the reception area, and assist with events and meetings. This role supports our growth as Australia’s leading home builder and design studio.

Qualifications

• Commitment to providing excellence in customer service.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and strong record keeping, planning, and organising.
• An interest in design and home decorating.
• Barista experience is an advantage.

About the opportunity

The Design Studio Receptionist reports to the Design Studio Manager and is part of the Thornton Interior Design team. In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to warmly welcome clients to the studio and manage client appointments with our interior design consultants. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

• Meet and greet all clients to the studio
• Answering calls from clients and other stakeholders
• Being the connection between the clients and our interior design consultants
• Managing and maintaining the reception area
• Assist with events and meeting co-ordination
