Job summary

NEX Building Group's MyChoice Design Studio in Newcastle offers an entry-level Receptionist role to warmly welcome clients and manage studio appointments with our interior design team. You will be the friendly first point of contact, helping schedule meetings and maintain a welcoming reception.

Daily duties include answering calls, connecting clients with designers, and providing general admin support to the studio.

Qualifications

• Customer service excellence in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and record keeping.
• Interest in design and home decorating.
• Barista experience is an advantage.

About the opportunity

The Design Studio Receptionist reports to the Design Studio Manager and is part of the Thornton Interior Design team. In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to warmly welcome clients to the studio and manage client appointments with our interior design consultants. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

Meet and greet all clients to the studio

Answering calls from clients and other stakeholders

Being the connection between the clients and our interior design consultants

Managing and maintaining the reception area

General admin support to design consultants

Assist with events and meeting co-ordination

About you

To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of MyChoice and NEX Building Group along with:
