Studio 103 in Brisbane seeks an Associate to lead and deliver interior design projects within its Studio 103 Interior Design Team. You will guide multiple projects from concept to completion, overseeing budgets, resources and schedule while mentoring junior designers and coordinating consultants.

The role emphasizes design excellence, client relationships, and business development, with growth opportunities under the Design Director's leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design or related discipline.
• 7+ years in a senior interior design role across commercial/workplace/retail/hospitality/residential.
• Proven experience leading project teams and delivering complex design projects.
• Strong people leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Experience managing budgets, resources and client expectations.
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office 365.

Studio 103 is an award-winning interior design practice specialising in commercial interiors, with additional experience across retail, government, residential and hospitality. The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an Associate to join our Interior Design Team in Brisbane.

As an Associate, you will be a key leader within Studio 103, responsible for driving the successful delivery of projects while leading and developing high-performing design teams. Working closely with the Design Director, you will oversee multiple projects, champion design excellence, foster strong client relationships, and contribute to the strategic growth of the studio.

This role combines design leadership, project oversight, people management, and business development, offering the opportunity to influence both project outcomes and the future direction of the studio.

This role reports directly to the Design Director and plays a critical role in mentoring team members, maintaining quality standards, and supporting Studio 103's continued success.

Key Responsibilities

About You

• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office 365.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• A strategic thinker who is passionate about design excellence, business growth and team success.
