Job summary

nib Group is seeking a senior technology leader to own and modernise its core insurance platforms across Australia and New Zealand. You will oversee performance, delivery and governance, shaping roadmaps and driving continuous improvements that enhance customer outcomes and operational resilience.

You will guide large teams through transformation, balance speed with risk, and manage key vendor relationships while partnering with executives to deliver strategic outcomes in a regulated insurance

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience across enterprise applications, core platforms, technology operations or large-scale delivery environments.
• Proven track record of improving operational performance and service reliability.
• Experience leading large technology teams through transformation and modernisation.
• Strong commercial, financial and vendor management capability.

Responsibilities

• Leading delivery, operational performance and continuous improvement of nib's insurance platforms across Australia and New Zealand.
• Developing and executing platform roadmaps aligned to business priorities and transformation objectives.
• Building high-performing teams focused on accountability, customer outcomes and technical excellence.
• Driving service reliability and disciplined delivery practices across the insurance technology portfolio.
• Managing strategic technology vendors, commercial relationships, budgets and investments.
• Partnering with business, architecture, cyber security and risk leaders to balance speed, risk and value.
• Leading platform modernisation and simplification initiatives to improve member experiences and business efficiency.
