Job summary

CFC Australia is seeking an Operations Analyst to join our Melbourne team in the Finance department. You will support business enablement across operational functions, perform reporting, testing and workflow improvements.

Reporting to the Compliance & Operations Manager, you will help strengthen operational effectiveness and contribute to Australian growth. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and strong Excel skills, analytical mindset, and excellent stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• Strong IT skills and ability to learn new systems, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and data management skills.
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to take ownership and manage competing priorities.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting or operational support roles is valued.
• Experience in financial services or insurance is advantageous.
• Exposure to system testing, process mapping and workflow improvement would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate operational reporting and data analysis.
• Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and other testing for new systems and process changes.
• Analysing and supporting the resolution of system, process and operational issues.
• Supporting new systems and processes that enable revenue growth and strategic initiatives.
• Mapping, documenting and improving operational workflows and procedures.
• Identifying opportunities for system enhancement, automation and control improvements.
• Supporting data integrity and operational initiatives across Compliance, Claims and other areas.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to support change and continuous improvement.
• General administration and office duties as required.
