Job summary

CFC is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join its Melbourne finance team. You’ll support reporting, data analysis, user acceptance testing, and process improvements to strengthen operational effectiveness and enable Australian growth and strategic initiatives.

The role requires a tertiary qualification, strong Excel and IT skills, excellent analytical abilities, and effective communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required and highly regarded in finance or insurance contexts.
• Strong IT skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, reporting and data management skills.
• High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to take ownership, use initiative and manage competing priorities.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting or operational support roles is advantageous.
• Experience in financial services or insurance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate operational reporting and data analysis.
• Conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and other testing for new systems and process changes.
• Analyzing and supporting the resolution of system and operational issues.
• Supporting new systems and processes that enable revenue growth and strategic initiatives.
• Mapping, documenting and improving operational workflows and procedures.
• Identifying opportunities for system enhancement, automation and control improvements.
• Supporting data integrity and operational initiatives across Compliance, Claims and other business areas.
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to support change and continuous improvement.
• General administration and office duties as required.
