Job summary

Hardware & General is seeking a driven Team Lead – Inside Sales/Account Manager to lead a team of Internal Account Managers, grow existing customer accounts and develop new business from builders, tradies and developers.

Based at our Brookvale head office, you’ll partner with Field Sales and cross-branch teams to improve processes, monitor KPIs and convert quotes into orders, while shaping the future direction of the Inside Sales function.

Qualifications

Background could be in sales, account management, estimating, construction, property development, engineering, contract administration or business.
Commercial thinking, strong planning and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach and develop a team of Internal Account Managers.
Grow existing customer accounts, retain customers and develop new business.
Oversee cross-branch quoting, order processing and quote follow-up for the Field Sales team.
Manage incoming phone, web enquiries and ensure all customer enquiries are handled promptly and professionally, with a focus on sales opportunities.
Monitor sales performance, KPIs and quote conversion to identify opportunities for improvement.
Work with Field Sales, branches and internal teams to improve processes, service and business results.
Help shape the structure, processes and future direction of the Inside Sales team.
