Responsibilities

• As Sales Support, provide quotations, price checks and verify orders for CT in Australia.
• As Technical Support, advise on applications and prepare costing summaries and tender documents.
• Assist sales team with day-to-day operations and respond to customer queries by phone and email.
• Assist customers with basic commercial and technical questions and organize documentation for customers and projects.
• Provide admin support for order processing, logistics and documentation when required.

Nidec Industrial Automation Australia – Blacktown NSW

The Inside Sales Engineer supports the sales team in addressing customer requirements, handling order processing, quotations, service administration, pricing verifications and documentation for CT in Australia.

The role also serves as support for Sales Admin whenever necessary and fulfils any other reasonable duties or reports as required.

Key responsibilities

As Sales Support: Provide quotations, price checks, pricing requests to factories and purchase order verifications of customers in Australia for CT

As Technical Support: Provide first level applications advice and support sales team with technical quotations including reading specifications, equipment take-offs, formulating costing summaries, and producing tender documentation to support bids

Assist sales team in day-to-day operations and manage customer queries via phone and emails

Assist customers on basic commercial and technical questions

Organize and provide documentation to customers (direct, channels) and projects

As Admin Support: The role is also expected to serve as a support whenever necessary, for the Admin role on critical roles such as Order Processing, Logistics, and necessary Documentations if the sales admin person is on leave for any reason.

Fulfil any other reasonable duties or reports as required
