Bestech Australia is seeking an engineer or technically minded sales professional to manage inbound customer enquiries, prepare quotations and provide application support across our range of technical products. You will work closely with Field Sales Engineers and Solutions Engineers to turn enquiries into practical solutions.

You will be responsible for responding promptly, preparing accurate quotations, understanding customer requirements, advising on products, and coordinating with Production

Responsabilidades

• Respond to customer enquiries and quotation requests promptly and professionally.
• Prepare accurate quotations and support Field Sales with quoting.
• Understand customer requirements including application, scope and timing.
• Provide product and application advice within technical knowledge.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineers for complex technical support.
• Identify and flag genuine sales opportunities to Field Sales.
• Process customer orders and ensure accuracy in product selection, pricing, quantities, and delivery.
• Coordinate with Production and Supply on availability and lead times.
• Record enquiries, quotations and outcomes accurately in the CRM.
• Provide timely updates to customers and maintain strong relationships.

You will be responsible for managing inbound customer enquiries, preparing quotations and providing application support across our range of technical products and solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer or technically minded sales professional who enjoys working with customers, solving application problems and turning enquiries into practical solutions. The role will work closely with Field Sales Engineers and Solutions Engineers, providing the internal sales and application support that allows the field team to spend more time with customers and developing new opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Responding to customer enquiries and quotation requests promptly and professionally
• Preparing accurate quotations for customers and supporting Field Sales with their quoting requirements
• Understanding customer requirements, including application, quantity, scope, timing and project context
• Providing product and application advice within your technical knowledge
• Working with Solutions Engineers when more complex technical support is required
• Identifying and flagging genuine sales opportunities to the Field Sales team
• Processing customer orders and ensuring accuracy across product selection, pricing, quantities and delivery requirements
• Working with Production and Supply to confirm product availability, lead times and delivery
• Managing customer enquiries through to the appropriate outcome rather than simply passing them on
• Recording enquiries, quotations, customer conversations and outcomes accurately in our CRM

• Detail-oriented, particularly when preparing quotations and processing orders
• Confident communicating with customers by phone and email
• Comfortable working with CRM, ERP and Microsoft Office systems
• A team player who enjoys working closely with Field Sales and technical teams
• A problem solver who enjoys finding practical solutions
