Job summary

Aggreko in Melbourne is seeking an Inside Sales Consultant to qualify inbound leads, convert them into opportunities and proactively call existing customers and prospects to generate new business.

In this role you will balance inbound conversions with outbound prospecting to hit revenue targets, maintain accurate CRM records, and collaborate with field sales on lead handoffs; training and career development are provided.

Qualifications

• 1+ years sales experience with ability to build rapport and handle objections.
• Background in equipment rental, power solutions, or technical products preferred.
• Experience with inbound lead qualification and outbound cold calling conversion.
• Success in consultative selling over the phone and remote relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Qualify inbound leads and convert marketing leads into sales through consultative phone-based selling.
• Conduct proactive outbound calling to existing customers and prospects for new business development.
• Achieve individual revenue targets through inbound conversion and outbound prospecting.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide reliable short-term sales forecasts.
• Build and maintain customer relationships through systematic follow-up processes.
• Collaborate with field sales teams on lead handoffs and account coordination.
