Job summary

Airservices Australia is seeking an experienced Injury Management Advisor to deliver end-to-end rehabilitation, recovery-at-work and return-to-work services for employees across Australia. The role focuses on early intervention, rehabilitation coordination and sustainable return-to-work outcomes within the Comcare framework.

You will work in a collaborative Injury Management Team, engaging across HR, operations and the broader business to implement practical, people‑focused injury management

Qualifications

• Practical experience managing rehabilitation and return-to-work cases within a Comcare-insured organisation.
• Strong capability supporting employees with physical and psychological injuries, including recovery at work and rehabilitation plans.
• Well-developed stakeholder engagement skills to influence, negotiate and collaborate across multiple parties.
• Experience providing advice and coaching to leaders regarding rehabilitation obligations and return-to-work responsibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgement, maintain confidentiality and balance competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end rehabilitation, recovery-at-work and return-to-work services for employees.
• Support employees across a nationally significant organisation and manage complex injury management cases within the Comcare scheme.
• Focus on early intervention, rehabilitation coordination and return-to-work planning for physical and psychological injuries.
• Balance legislative requirements, operational needs and employee wellbeing while managing complex cases.
