Job summary

Cater Care is seeking an experienced Care Services Advisor to join our Care Services team in Sydney. This permanent full-time role focuses on injury management, workers’ compensation and facilitating return-to-work journeys for employees across our business.

You will advise, support and coordinate with healthcare professionals, insurers and operational teams to achieve safe, sustainable outcomes and timely recovery for staff, while maintaining accurate records and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Workers’ Compensation or Injury Management.
• Strong communication skills with employees, healthcare professionals and insurers.
• Ability to develop practical return-to-work and work capacity plans.
• Knowledge of injury management legislation and processes.

Responsibilities

• Managing workplace injuries and workers’ compensation matters from initial injury through to resolution.
• Assessing injuries, medical information, prognosis and work capacity to advise operations.
• Working with treating practitioners to establish capacity and suitable duties.
• Developing and monitoring return-to-work and work capacity plans.
• Coordinating medical appointments and liaising with insurers and authorities.
• Maintaining injury management records and providing reporting and analytics.
