Job summary

Woolworths Group is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect to join our Infrastructure Architecture team in Australia. You will partner with technology customers to guide projects, design resilient infrastructure, and align solutions with Woolworths standards across large centralised and distributed environments.

This role focuses on observability, security and high availability while supporting a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years as an infrastructure architect.
Experience designing large centralised and distributed applications.
Experience architecting solutions with Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

Partner with our technology customers to consult and guide technology projects, optimising the selection and use of infrastructure.
Analyse business requirements to identify where standardised architecture and services can be employed; and where new patterns or services are required.
Produce Infrastructure High Level Designs, unpinning business applications with the best value infrastructure services to meet security, performance, availability, and operational support objectives.
Ensure solutions enable discoverability, observability and self heal capabilities by design
Ensure that designs align with Woolworths standards in partnership with Technology stakeholders.
