Job summary

Woolworths Group in Australia seeks an experienced Infrastructure Solution Architect to partner with technology teams, shaping secure, scalable infrastructure across large enterprise environments.

You will design high-level infrastructure patterns, enable observability and self-healing capabilities, and ensure alignment with Woolworths standards while collaborating with multiple architecture teams to share knowledge and drive modernization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as an infrastructure architect.
• Experience designing large centralised and distributed applications from an infrastructure perspective.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

Responsibilities

• Partner with technology customers to design and guide infrastructure projects.
• Analyse requirements to apply standardised architectures and identify when new patterns are needed.
• Produce Infrastructure High Level Designs ensuring security, performance, availability and operational support.
• Ensure designs enable observability, self-heal capabilities by design.
• Align designs with Woolworths standards in partnership with Technology stakeholders.
• Contribute to architecture policies, standards, and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other architecture teams to share knowledge and improve practices.
