Job summary

Talent in Melbourne is seeking an experienced ICT Infrastructure Project Coordinator to support delivery of multiple technology infrastructure projects across networks, servers, cloud, storage and data centres.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in coordinating end-to-end delivery of ICT infrastructure projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, delivery plans and milestone trackers.
• Coordinate resources, vendors and third-party service providers to meet schedules.
• Monitor risks, issues, actions and dependencies and escalate as needed.
• Assist with budget tracking, POs, invoices and expenditure reporting.
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards and meeting documentation.
• Coordinate change requests, deployment schedules, testing and cutover planning.
• Maintain governance documentation and ensure PMO compliance.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, stakeholders and vendors.
• Support project closure activities and handovers.

We are seeking an experienced ICT Infrastructure Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of multiple technology infrastructure projects. The role will work closely with Project Managers, technical teams, vendors and business stakeholders to coordinate project activities, track milestones, manage documentation and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting complex ICT infrastructure projects across networks, servers, cloud, storage, data centres and infrastructure upgrades.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in coordinating the end-to-end delivery of ICT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, server migrations, cloud implementations and infrastructure refreshes.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, delivery plans, milestone trackers and project documentation.
• Coordinate technical resources, infrastructure engineers, vendors and third-party service providers to ensure project activities are completed on schedule.
• Monitor project risks, issues, actions and dependencies, escalating potential delivery challenges to Project Managers.
• Assist with project financial management, including budget tracking, purchase orders, invoices, forecasts and expenditure reporting.
• Prepare project status reports, dashboards, meeting agendas, minutes and steering committee documentation.
• Coordinate infrastructure implementation activities, including change requests, deployment schedules, testing and cutover planning.
• Maintain project governance documentation and ensure compliance with organisational PMO frameworks and processes.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, business stakeholders and external vendors.
• Support project closure activities, including handover to operational teams, documentation and lessons learned.

Key Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an ICT Project Coordinator, ideally supporting infrastructure or technology transformation projects.
• Exposure to ICT infrastructure environments, including networking, servers, cloud platforms, storage, data centres or cybersecurity.
• Good understanding of managing RAID logs and project financials
• Strong project coordination skills, including scheduling, reporting, documentation and tracking project deliverables.
• Experience coordinating technical teams, third-party vendors and multiple project workstreams.
• Understanding of project governance, risk management, financial tracking and change management processes.
