Job summary

Talent in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to oversee multiple infrastructure initiatives from inception through BAU transition. The role spans networking, storage, compute, cloud, and data centre technologies, coordinating across technical teams and senior stakeholders.

You will manage initiatives end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time and within budget while aligning with business objectives and long-term roadmap. This is a 12-month contract based in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Career Instructure Project Manager with 5+ years’ experience delivering infrastructure projects (Compute, Networks, Storage & Backup, Data Centre).
• Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture and technical dependencies.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong vendor and commercial management experience.
• Demonstrated ability to manage project risks, budgets, and delivery timelines.
• Experience working within structured project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid).
• 12 month ongoing contract within a stable team of long term contractors.
• Strong pipeline of work over the next 2+ years.

This role will suit someone who has delivered large-scale infrastructure initiatives spanning networking, storage, compute, cloud, and data centre technologies, while working with multiple technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
You’ll be responsible for managing projects from initiation through to implementation, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives.
