Job summary

Royal Australian Mint in Canberra is seeking an IT professional to provide second/third level support for on-premises and cloud infrastructure within the IT Service Delivery team.

The role focuses on resolving complex ICT incidents, supporting services such as Entra ID, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Windows Defender, Purview, Teams, Intune, Active Directory, DNS, networks and storage, and may require occasional after-hours work to meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• Experience with enterprise IT environments.
• Knowledge of cloud services (Entra ID, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, Intune).
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support across ICT practices including cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Resolve level-3 ICT incidents and service requests.
• Escalate and coordinate with vendors and internal teams as needed.

Job description

The role provides support to the IT Service Delivery team and acts as the primary escalation point for third level support of the on-premises IT infrastructure and cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• The position may occasionally require work outside of normal business hours to support operational requirements.
• Providing technical support across a wide range of ICT practices, including Cloud Services such as Entra ID, Exchange Online, OneDrive, Windows Defender, Purview, Teams and Intune.
• Providing technical support for on-prem and legacy systems such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, networks, storage and backup.
• Resolving of level three ICT incidents and service requests.
