Job summary

Sharp & Carter partners with an established Melbourne-based organisation to recruit a Senior Infrastructure Administrator for their technology team. This broad, hands-on role spans a hybrid cloud and on‑prem environment, taking ownership of day-to-day infrastructure while driving upgrades, migrations, security improvements and larger technology projects.

You will support and administer Azure, Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments, manage Active Directory and endpoint technologies, and

• Extensive hands-on infrastructure administration experience.
• Experience with Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Solid knowledge of networking, virtualization, storage and backups.

Responsibilities

• Support and administer Azure, Microsoft 365 and Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Entra ID and endpoint technologies.
• Support virtualization, storage, networking, backup and disaster recovery.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues as a senior escalation point.
• Manage patching, security, vulnerability remediation and system upgrades.
• Deliver infrastructure projects, migrations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with internal teams, vendors and external service providers.
