Job summary

Greater Dandenong City Council is seeking an experienced Information Systems Analyst to join our Digital Technology team. The role focuses on supporting, enhancing and improving the Council's corporate business applications and information systems across the organisation.

You will analyse business requirements, investigate system issues, coordinate upgrades and enhancements, deliver testing activities and help identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery for internal users.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting and administering corporate business applications in a complex organisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and improve business processes.
• Experience working with business users to gather requirements, document processes and implement system enhancements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience supporting system upgrades, testing activities and change initiatives.
• Well-developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Experience with reporting, business intelligence and data analysis tools, including SQL-based reporting environments.
