Job summary

The Department of Defence is recruiting an APS 5 Information and Records Management Officer to join the Directorate of Information and Data Governance - Air Force (DIDG-AF). Located in Canberra, ACT, the role supports management of Air Force information assets, records, and related systems, delivering specialist advice across governance, compliance and assurance.

Qualifications

Demonstrated information and records management experience with policy knowledge.
Stakeholder engagement and clear written/oral communication skills.
Ability to analyse issues, apply policy and deliver practical solutions.
Live near Defence Base or accessible location for Defence Secret Environment access.

Responsibilities

Support the management of Air Force information assets, records, associated systems and records management services.
Provide specialist advice across records management, information governance, compliance, audit and assurance activities, information remediation, training and customer service.
Collaborate with stakeholders across Air Force and Defence, contribute to planning activities and assist in longer-term information management initiatives.
