Job summary

The Australian Department of Defence in Sydney is seeking an APS 5 Risk Officer to support the coordination and continuous improvement of Service Risk Management across Training Force. You will help identify, assess, monitor and report risks that may impact delivery of objectives and capability outcomes.

You will work with risk owners and stakeholders to maintain risk registers, monitor treatment actions and prepare risk briefs and dashboards for senior leadership and governance forums,

Qualifications

• Experience in risk management within large organisations.
• Ability to assess, monitor and report risks to executives.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with risk owners and governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Service Risk Management activities and maintain risk registers.
• Analyse risk information and trends to support decision-making.
