Responsibilities

• Leading and delivering complex information management projects and initiatives, managing schedules, risks, dependencies and deliverables to achieve organisational outcomes.
• Managing the lifecycle of physical and digital information assets, including retention and disposal activities in accordance with legislative, regulatory and departmental requirements.
• Undertaking analysis of information management systems, data sources and business processes to identify trends, risks and opportunities, and recommend improvements to business practices and controls.
• Preparing high-quality reports, briefs, submissions and analytical products to support governance and inform evidence-based decision-making.
• Providing authoritative advice and guidance on information management, records management and information governance obligations.
• Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, negotiating outcomes and influencing decision-making to support service delivery.
• Managing relationships with contracted service providers, including overseeing service delivery, monitoring performance and procurement activities.
• Contributing to development and continuous improvement of information management frameworks, policies and governance arrangements.
