Job summary

Total Entrance Solutions Pty Ltd (TES) in Narangba, Queensland, is seeking an experienced Roller Shutter/Gate/Dock Leveller Service Technician to join our service team. You will service, diagnose and repair industrial doors, gates and dock levellers across South East Queensland, with on-site fault finding and hands-on maintenance.

We offer full-time employment after a 6-month probation, competitive wages based on experience, and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass criminal history checks for high-security sites.
• Current Queensland Open Driver’s Licence (HR licence advantageous).
• Forklift licence, Working at Heights and EWP ticket preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools including grinders, welders and electric drills.
• Hydraulic experience is highly regarded (especially for dock levellers).
• Strong fault-finding skills across roller shutters, dock levellers and automatic gate systems.
• Excellent attendance, reliability and punctuality.
• Pride in personal presentation and workmanship.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to complete job documentation electronically and manually.
• Strong understanding of WH&S requirements and safe work practices.
• Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Availability for overtime and participation in an after-hours on-call roster (including weekends).

Responsibilities

• Service and repair industrial roller shutters, automatic doors, gates and dock levellers.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on site across a range of systems.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Complete job documentation electronically and manually as required.
• Adhere to WH&S requirements and safe work practices.
• Work independently or as part of a team and participate in on-call rosters.

Our commitment to quality workmanship, prompt service and genuine customer care has earned us a strong reputation with major asset owners, facility managers and commercial property groups.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Roller Shutter / Automatic Door / Gate / Dock Leveller Technician to join our growing team. Due to increased demand and the addition of another service vehicle, we are looking for an experienced technician across industrial doors, gates or dock levellers.

However, if you have a strong mechanical or electrical aptitude and a solid hands‑on skill set, we will provide on‑the‑job training for the right applicant.
