Qualifications

• White Card (Construction)
• Full unrestricted Australian working rights
• Ability to pass criminal checks for correctional centres
• Valid QLD driver's licence (HR/forklift/scissor-lift an advantage)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understand & comply with Workplace Health & Safety Policies
• Able to work under pressure and adapt to change
• Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team
• Strong relationship building ability
• Ability to work overtime regularly

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with the repair and maintenance of industrial roller doors, shutters, automatic doors, and gate operating equipment.
• Prepare and organise tools, equipment, and materials required for jobs.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and operate hand and power tools.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, including the workshop and service vehicles.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Complete paperwork and documentation as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients on job sites.

Position Available: Trade Assistant

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Trade Assistant to support our team of skilled technicians. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our service and installation processes.

What We Require:

• Assist technicians with the repair, and maintenance of industrial roller doors, shutters, automatic doors, and gate operating equipment.
• Prepare and organise tools, equipment, and materials required for jobs.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks and operate various hand and power tools.
• Keep work areas clean and organized, including the workshop and service vehicles.
• Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
• Complete paperwork and documentation as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients on job sites.
