Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a field service technician to service, maintain and repair industrial doors, roller shutters and dock solutions across Sydney. Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience with industrial doors or similar mechanical systems
Current Australian driver’s licence
Forklift, Scissor Lift licences preferred
Ability to work independently and manage your time while maintaining safety

Job description

Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
Communicate directly with customers on-site
Manage own workload once trained
Participate in an on-call roster
Travel on the road to service industrial and commercial customers

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience with industrial doors, roller shutters, automatic doors, dock levellers, gates or similar mechanical systems
Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
Ability to work independently and manage your time
Safety-conscious mindset
Reliable and motivated work ethic
Current Australian driver’s licence
Forklift and scissor lift licences preferred
Comfortable working at heights
Transferable skills from adjacent industries such as electrical, carpentry, construction trades, plumbing, gas fitting, facilities maintenance or HVAC installation
Willingness to learn

Core Competencies
