Job summary

GHE Lifting is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive service sales of industrial equipment across Australia, owning the sales pipeline and converting inbound leads into signed contracts. The role is onsite plus field, with a direct reporting line to the owner and a warm pipeline of existing clients.

Qualifications

• You've sold service contracts or technical products to industrial businesses
• You’re hungry, humble, and smart
• You can explain how you've won a deal at a higher price than the competitor
• You know your activity numbers, not just your revenue
• You take feedback and act on it
• You hold a current driver's license

Responsibilities

• Own the service sales pipeline from first call to signed contract
• Work the existing client base and turn inbound leads into new business
• Build relationships with MDs, GMs and business owners
• Put together proposals and close deals based on value
• Keep up a high level of activity by phone and face to face
• Grow existing accounts and spot opportunities for new equipment
