Job summary

Uplift Recruitment Pty is seeking a proactive Sales / Business Development Manager to grow its NSW customer base. You’ll identify new business, cold call decision-makers, and build a strong pipeline to meet ambitious targets.

You’ll work with a range of industrial products and solutions, travel across NSW (with interstate travel), and own the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to closing. If you’re energetic and results-driven, this could be your next step.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to generate your own leads and opportunities.
• A strong understanding of the sales process.
• Confidence making outbound calls and approaching new customers.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Good planning and organisational capability.
• The ability to manage your own day and take accountability for results.
• A resilient, energetic and results-driven approach.
• A current driver’s licence and Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identifying and prospecting new customers
• Cold calling and engaging business owners and key decision-makers
• Researching target companies, industries and contacts
• Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline
• Qualifying leads and booking high-quality sales appointments
• Developing relationships with new and existing customers
• Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable solutions
• Working towards weekly, monthly and annual sales targets
• Maintaining accurate customer and opportunity information within the CRM
• Keeping across competitor activity, industry trends and emerging opportunities
• Travelling throughout your NSW territory, with some interstate travel required
