Slattery Grays Auctions is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our Industrial sales team in Sydney. You will identify leads and build relationships for the disposal of surplus equipment across transport, earthmoving, construction, and manufacturing sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven sales ability with track record of overachievement in industrial sectors.
• Strong market knowledge across transport, earthmoving, construction or manufacturing.
• Auction experience—directly employed or via trading or engagement—essential.

Responsibilities

• Cover a large region surrounding Sydney with regular face-to-face site meetings.
• Mix of high-volume cold calls and warm leads with repeat/dormant accounts to identify opportunities.
• Assess potential partners, research competition, evaluate deals and develop business cases.
