Job summary

Slattery Grays Auctions is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Industrial sales team, based in Southern NSW or ACT. You will identify leads and build relationships to dispose of surplus equipment across transport, earthmoving, construction, agriculture, and engineering sectors.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in selling industrial assets.
• Knowledge of transport, earthmoving, construction sectors.
• Experience in auction or trading engagements.

Responsibilities

• Cover a large region around southern NSW and ACT with regular face-to-face meetings.
• Develop leads from cold calls and warm prospects, including repeat accounts.
• Assess partners, research competition, evaluate deals, and build business cases.
• Be the lead contact for customers, vendors and stakeholders with excellent service.
• Build relationships within the local and national team.
• Provide revenue forecasts and monitor KPIs and budgets.
• Use negotiating skills to close new business and plan local sales strategies.
• Travel weekly to achieve targets.
